In Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve "Amber" (Seversk) city Greco-Roman wrestling competitions among school students took place. This bright sports event in life of beginning athletes, young fighters of the Greco-Roman style, for a long time remains in their memory.

Any competition for the athlete, whether it be the veteran hoary with age or only taking the first steps in sports the boy, is check of the forces and opportunities. Test in "fighting conditions" all that for hours was fulfilled on trainings.

For many boys of 2003-2004 year of birth the tournament which has received the original name "Powerful Poteshka", was, probably, the first in them only to beginning sports career. It was succeeded to carry out it within the Sportlandiya project with financial support of the State corporation on atomic energy "Rosatom". As organizers sports schools "Lider" and "Yantar", and also educational school No. 90 acted.

On a wrestling mat to be overcome in every sense for prizes of tournament there were more than 70 young athletes in 15 weight categories. It is more than a half of them — 45 people - became winners and prize-winners. But, to get to their number, it was necessary to win from 4 to 5 duels.

Olympic reserve

"Powerful poteshka" caused a great interest. The gym was overflowed by fans. For participants sincerely, and the main thing, is noisy worried mothers, fathers, grandmothers, grandfathers, friends and acquaintances. Little "athletes" together with them rejoiced to the progress, successfully carried out receptions, together endured failures and defeats. But sports laws consist in it, especially such severe man's look what fight by right is considered. For many as we already noted, it there were first tests for firmness and courage. Little athletes understood that the main thing in these competitions is an overcoming of psychological obstacles and formation of sports spirit.

It is quite possible that someone from these kids becomes the great athlete, worthy glories Aleksandr Karelin and Hassan Baroyev, will enter the Olympic reserve and in the future will glorify our city.
