The first post-reform World Cup of wrestling, passed in September in Budapest, presented a set of bright, dynamic duels, pleased with the cool organization and the whole scale of positive emotions. The last circumstance is in no small measure caused by some medal catch of the Belarusian team.

Two bronze awards — "wrestler" Ali Shabanov and "Greco-Roman" Jaweed Gamzatov — fell in our moneybox. Not fabulous, but it is quite sound.

However the rolled euphoria from comprehensive idyll in native wrestling shop quickly enough developed into an easy form of alarm: and what, actually, further, for example, in our free-style wrestling? In Budapest from pupils of domestic school only one Ivan Yankovsky acted. Other children from Dagestan plus Vladislav Andreev from Yakutia.

This subject already set the teeth on edge. In the wrestling environment to it treat as a reality. Experts in the majority picked up a peculiar syndrome of accustoming and chronic melancholy. Starts seeming that so was always and will be from now on. Actually to a problem from a sort of ten one and a half years. It grows as a snowball, and there is a fear that a non-return point any more behind mountains.

In the second half of the 90th mass delivery to our country of children from Dagestan began. Generally it were already developed masters. The scheme worked simply: guys obtained the Belarusian nationality, came only on collecting bringing to large international tournaments and competed. Let's pay tribute — often not unsuccessfully. Wrestlers carried out the rest of the time in the homeland.

To athletes I have no claims. In fact, places under the wrestling sun not so much, it is extremely difficult to get under its beams in the territory of Russia because the competition there it is incomparable above, than in other countries. Wrestlers of an extra-class for career can sometimes not get at all chance to make a speech at the World Cups and Europe, not to mention Olympic Games. Suggested to achieve dream to them in the sister republic, that is at us. The benefit here for visitors conditions of the maximum preference were created: train at home, show result, speaking at tournaments for Belarus — and there will be to you an honor and praise and that is important, a salary.

As a result quickly enough we had a situation, when without the Dagestan Belarusians a national team already and difficultly to present. You judge. In the world championship - 2011 in Istanbul Belarus for hundred percent was presented by legionaries, on Games in London — a similar situation! About the recent World Cup it is already told. It is available paradox: Belarusians for Belarus don't speak at top tournaments!

Someone, probably, will suspect the author of these lines of manifestation of a certain form of nationalism. Your right! However there is an internal conviction that silence and inaction in a discussed subject for domestic free-style wrestling are pernicious. And therefore before our wrestling public there are sacramental questions: who is guilty and what to do? I will try to answer them.

Our trainers who are working at a stage of a set and selection of pupils and carrying out initial preparation of future athletes are guilty. Recently activity of this cohort of experts deserves a kind portion of criticism. Very many dare to work by the plain principle "Both you pay, and we work".

The most paradoxical in the circumstances is that, despite not brilliant work of children's trainers, in the country, practically in each region, prize-winners of youthful and youth superiority of Europe and the world, or taking in final protocols of these competitions the places close to pedestal are regularly brought up. I am ready to transfer offhand about ten surnames of the guys falling under mentioned category. Whether it is an indicator of their future prospects? Also regularly after several years these young men disappear from a big sports orbit, having got to power of various circumstances in the category of the unpromising.

It is time to do, at last, something with ShVSM which, despite the appointment, actually are the amateur organizations, incapable to provide full preparation of athletes on approaches to the main team of the country. In the legal plan it is necessary to give to the athlete at a stage of the highest sports skill the status of the professional, in household — to provide with housing, let and the most unpretentious. As a result in recent years, hoping for old system of preparation and material security, instead of professional athletes we receive not less professional security guards for night clubs. It is sure, heads of these institutions are very happy with similar turn of events.

It is impossible to claim that thus to all fault only existence in a national team of a large number of visitors of competitors. But it is really so difficult to keep a holder of homebrew wrestlers in whom huge trainer's work and considerable funds at stages of initial preparation and sports improvement are enclosed, and to bring them to level of a national team? ! Probably, they will bring from large international starts slightly less awards, than in the presence in team of legionaries, but it will be a question really of a national team of Belarus. Similar actions would serve as the motivational beginning for representatives of domestic trainer's shop and would support reputation of the Belarusian school of free-style wrestling. Eventually, it is a question of self-esteem of the Belarusian experts and people from wrestling, though a little positioning as patriots.

While the dangerous ideological scheme is to the full extent realized: medals at any cost, by all means! In prosecution of this false idea we risk to miss the purpose true. Finally all of us should answer questions: for whom, actually, all this is necessary? till what time we will be engaged in self-deception? who will be responsible for billion rubles spent for nothing? why to Belarusians it is refused the right to support the national team?

However, searches of the guilty will occupy a great lot of time and nervous energy whereas it is much more useful to use them for the especially creative.
