The national team on the Greco-Roman wrestling, won in the first day of competitions at Bulgaria and Armenia with the identical score 5:2, in the ending met Turkish national team and after the first four weight categories led in the score 3:1. Nick Tsetskhladze (55 kg) without chances I lost to Serif Kilich (0:8), and Tornika Turkishvili (60 kg), against Sachino Davitaya (66 kg) and Zurab Datunashvili (74 kg) won the duels. Turkishvili purely overcame Moustapha Saglami, Davitaya was stronger than Yuksel Atakan (7:0), and Datunashvili in half-minute took 8 points from the prize-winner of a WC Serif Tuyefenk.

In the remained three fights of the national team for a gain of a title one victory, however sufficed even... Revaz Nadareishvili (84 kg) didn't manage to keep advantage in 2:0 in a duel with Ahmet Ildyrim and allowed it to even up scores that automatically meant loss. Similarly (2:2) Vasil Imerlishvili (96 kg) lost also Chenka Ildema, and тяжеловевс Levan Arabuli couldn't show resistance to 35-year-old Gyuzel Atilla (0:2 0:3) and the team trained by Otar Tatishvili had to be content with a silver medal.

The national team of Georgia on free-style wrestling arrived to Moscow in fighting structure and the Russian editions considered her as the favourite of tournament. Argument gave also that fact that other national teams acted there in experimental structures. Having won in the first day in group against the national teams of Bulgaria (7:0) and Turkey (5:2), Revaz Mindorashvili's team in the ending came to experimental structure of Russians at whom, besides, was nobody in the heavy weight so Georgians began the ending with odds - 1:0. One change happened and as a part of our national team - in the ending one of her leaders David Marsagishvili (84 kg) couldn't act.

After George Edisherashvili (55 kg) overcame Bazar Zhalsapov (4:0 3:4) , the joint account became 2:0 in ours польу and after Vladimir Hinchegashvili (60 kg) in two minutes finished with Timur Pestarev (7:0), Mindorashvili's command from a title was separated by only one victory – 3:0.

Unfortunately for us, Russians managed to win all remained four fights and became champions of tournament. Levan Kelekhsashvili (66 kg) lost Soslana Ramonova 0:7, George Marsagishvili (74 kg) – to Atsamaza Sanakoyev (2:10), Sandro Aminashvili (84 kg) - Soslan Htsoyev (0:8), and Elizbar Odikadze (96 kg) in persistent fight conceded in a decisive duel to Batraz Gazzayev – 6:7.
