The Tajik wrestlers successfully appeared in the international tournament among adults on free-style  and Greco-Roman wrestling in honor of the Olympic champion-1928 in a light heavyweight of Ibrahim Moustapha. Competitions took place in Cairo (Egypt), reports SIA "VS".

The composition of the national team of Tajikistan included two athletes. Farrukh Bekov (60 kg) benefited a silver medal in free and a bronze award in classical styles of wrestling, and the Farrukh Sharipov who was also appearing in weight category to 60 kg, won silver medals in the free-style and Greco-Roman wrestling.
