On October 20 in the German city Ebersbakh took place the 20th International tournament of memory of Emil Vinnerleyn on Greco-Roman wrestling among young men from 6 to 14 years. 223 athletes participated in it from Germany and Austria
Our compatriots represented the Austrian clubs Hyorbrants and Volfurt. Among the smallest participants of 6-8 years good fellows proved to be Ibrahim Aliyev and Mansur Bagashev from Hyorbrants, become champions of tournament. Aliyev in the weight 25 kg won one fight with a clear advantage, and in four laid rivals on shovels. Bagashev, on the contrary, won four meetings with a clear advantage, and one (in the ending) on "tushe".
In age group of 9-10 years to our athletes resisted not only the German boys, but also girls. In category 29 kg there were nine participants. Daud Daudov from Volfurt won four fights and reached the final. And Kira Mertz from Benningen appeared his opponent in fight for a gold medal. And, the girl was — not a gift. It reached the ending, having laid three rivals on shovels. However, Daud quickly dealt with the young German and, having won on "tushe", became the champion. Hizir Bagashev in the weight 32 kg also had to struggle in one of fights with strong little girl Annabella Vokt. However, it didn't finish a duel and at the score 8:6 in favor of our athlete acted from a carpet. And Hizir lost further one meeting and through consolatory group took the third place. Among boys of 11-12 years in category 36 kg Ismail Aliyev well fought. He won two duels behind the clear advantage, two on "tushe", but lost in the ending and took the second place.
