The total press conference of the International youthful tournament on Greco-Roman wrestling "Power of traditions" with involvement of the three-fold winner of Olympic Games of Alexander Karelin, and the principal of the FILA working group on the Wrestling — 2020 program of George Bryusov took place.

Places for the principal participants of tournament - trainers and captains of teams-participants were in the first row prepared. Instructors of national teams were unanimous – the premiere of "Power of traditions" was successful!

 Three-fold winner of Olympic Games Aleksandr Karelin:

- It is happy with duels - there were no violations and injuries, the competition was sharp, the nerve of wrestling was present from the first to the last duel, worthy rivals here met, each of which was ready to win. We will see off youthful, instead of masterful tournament because only young people are capable to show that direct wrestling which so strikes the audience the magnetism. On "Power of traditions" we risked and entered directly some innovations, the most disturbing – tournament preceded demonstrative ceremony of weighing. If with such agiotage come to look at young wrestlers what will be when on a carpet there will be the professionals allocated with titles?

We plan to reserve the right for further experiments within development of this tournament and would like to expand geography.  "Power of traditions" remains in the territory of Siberia, but the cities can change.

I want to tell thanks to all who participated in the first International youthful tournament "Power of Traditions"! Thanks to support of everyone we have all perspectives to save wrestling. Thanks to organizing committee and personally to the chairman – to the Governor of the Novosibirsk region Vasily Yurchenko – support of the head of the region, the sensitive and attentive relation to our common cause are invaluable: about "Power of traditions" knew, children, adults came to tournament, there came young wrestlers from area regions, including group of the settlement Krasnozyorsky where in September with support of administration of the region and "Karelin-Fonda" the Greco-Roman wrestling section opened. We gave the chance to these boys to get acquainted with our sport, to meet and communicate to the titled athletes, winners of Olympic Games. It is sure that this traveling to Novosibirsk which is nearly three hundred kilometers, will be remembered by it for the rest of life. And it – only part of that pedagogical effect which we gained.

Principal of the FILA working group on the Wrestling — 2020 program George Bryusov:

- First of all it would be desirable to thank Alexander Karelin and organizing committee of tournament, the chairman of organizing committee, the governor of the Novosibirsk region Vasily Yurchenko for carrying out a fine holiday for all fans of sports. I am proud of that such hi-tech sporting event took place on the Siberian earth. It is possible to provide, what improbable emotions were tested by the wrestler in case of an output for a carpet, after all spectator support every minute amplified. "Power of traditions" - the visual aid, peculiar "textbook" of how it is necessary to organize tournaments that wrestling became even more mass and available to younger generation.
