On October 12, 2013 within the international tournament "Power of Traditions" there took place a meeting of the deserved master of sports of the USSR, double world champion Alexander Ignatenko with pupils of orphanages of the city of Novosibirsk. The Omsk wrestler told about the life, sports career and difficulties which it was necessary to face.

Alexander and his twin brother Sergey were born in 1963 in the Kemerovo region. At the age of three years they with the brother got to the Kemerovo House of the baby, after a while them moved to a Novokuznetsk boarding school, after children moved to Omsk. Sports career of brothers of Ignatenko began in 1975 in a children's summer camp after wrestling  with children, then they were noticed by "games-master" - the master of sports on wrestling  who trained at Kalyuzhny Ivan Ivanovich. Ivan Ivanovich became for two wrestlers, Alexander and Sergey, not only the trainer, but also the inspirer and almost the father.

Children who were at a meeting with the wrestler, except stories from life which can serve for them as a lesson, received also a parting word from Alexander Ignatenko:

- At everyone the track. We can deceive each other, but yourself you won't deceive. If you are engaged in something professionally, has to do the part. The most important – never in life to be afraid to make decisions, after all the way of the winner begins with the first step.

After conference all wishing got autographs of the athlete and made a photo for memory.
