On 8 of October, 2013 on the 65th year after a short illness died the president of Federation of Greco-Roman wrestling of the Komi Republic Anatoly Viktorovich Piksaykin .

Piksaykin Anatoly Viktorovich was born on April 5, 1949 in the city of Kirovograd, Sverdlovsk region. In 1969 it was called in ranks of the Soviet Army to the city of Vorkuta. Having served in 1971, remained in our city, and I joined ranks of a courageous profession, I became the miner. Working in mine, he didn't leave sports in which started being engaged in school days. Actively I participated in competitions on different types of sports. And wrestling  — the free-style, classical, Greco-Roman became love of all his life! Anatoly fought and won! And only the sports trauma forced it to stop at the level of the candidate for the master of sports!

In 1980 at the age of 31 year Anatoly Viktorovich at accident on mine got the hardest trauma — fractures of both feet and spinal fracture. Long 14 years Anatoly Viktorovich struggled with the illness, transferred tens operations, extremity amputation, infinite procedures and rehabilitation actions. It was the real wrestler! He stood! Didn't break! Also could return to active life! I organized the business! In 1994 married and I assumed care of two boys. I raised them all these years, as native sons! And when boys at early age came to occupations by wrestling , together with them Anatoly Viktorovich returned to a hall also. Certainly any more as the athlete, and as the generous sponsor of sporting events and young wrestlers, as the person who is sincerely in love with wrestling  as the person, sacredly believing that boys, being engaged in wrestling , learn to be strong, courageous, kind and generous.

Anatoly Viktorovich's contribution to Greco-Roman wrestling development in the city of Vorkuta didn't remain unnoticed, and in 1996 at meeting of wrestlers of the Komi Republic very known and dear person in our republic Vladimir Parshukov — the owner of the World Cup, Champion Evropy, the Champion of the USSR, the Deserved master of sports on free-style wrestling suggested Anatoly Viktorovich to head Federation of Greco-Roman wrestling of the Komi Republic. So he became the President of Federation, and remained it till last day of the life.

In 2010 the Federation of Greco-Roman wrestling of RK Anatoly Viktorovich's diligence, received the legal status and accreditation. For long-term fruitful work in the field of sports Anatoly Viktorovich was repeatedly marked out by diplomas and thanks of Federation of wrestling of Russia, Agency on physical culture and sport of the Komi Republic, GO "Vorkuta" Municipality Administration.

Anatoly Viktorovich left, and together with him the whole era leaves. The devoted friend, dear colleague, the loving husband and the father left. All sports public of the city and the republic, trainers and athletes deeply mourn for Piksaykin Anatoly Viktorovich's premature demise and express sincere condolences to his family.

Light memory of the beautiful person forever remains in our hearts.
