On the eve of start of the International tournament on Greco-Roman wrestling "Power of traditions" athletes passed medical examination and weighing.

As a result of lot representatives of Kazakhstan got up on scales the first, behind them – the national team of Belarus, after – a team of Russia and Ukraine. In accordance with the established procedure each athlete at first approached to a table of medical workers, then rose by scales. Thus its real weight was shown to all participants on the special screen. Open weighing is an innovation within the international competitions which was approved unanimously by trainer's structure.

Instructor of the national team of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumashev:

– It seems to me, the similar format of procedure of weighing has to be accepted at the international level is an evident demonstration of transparency of wrestling which excludes even the slightest inaccuracy or unauthenticity.

After weighing to each athlete handed over a package with a set of souvenirs for memory of "Power of traditions".
