In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on June 26 passed the all-physical preparation competitions, dated for celebration of the Olympic day and the All-Russian Day of youth.

As reported in the press service of administration of the regional center, more than 70 pupils of summer camp of city DYuSSh on Greco-Roman wrestling competed in classical exercises: press-up, pulling up, shuttle run, somersaults, broad jumps and through a jump rope.

"Today we could see and estimate sports level of our children that will allow to introduce further necessary amendments in occupations", - the deputy director for teaching and educational work Victor Misaylov told.

The sports holiday as which organizer management on physical culture acted, to sports and youth policy of a city administration, became one of the actions which are taking place in a framework of the municipal program "The Organization of Rest, Improvement and Employment of Children, Teenagers and Youth in the Territory of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk for 2012-2014".
