In sport center "Miner" the took place XI International tournament on the Greco-Roman wrestling, devoted to memory of Honourable citizen Gubkin and V. N. Poddubny's Gubkinsky region.

More than 160 young athletes participated in competitions from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine. At ceremony of opening there was a deputy of a regional duma, the president of regional federation of Greco-Roman wrestling, the managing director of JSC Kmarud's Combine V.K.Tomayev, the deputy head of administration of the city district S. N. Zhiryakova, the head of department of physical culture and sports S.I.Anpilov, the deputy managing director for staff and the general questions and the chairman of trade-union committee of combine "Kmaruda" A.F. Pies and N. V. Khudyakov, world champions V.A. Klintsov and N. P. Yaroshenko, owner of the Cup of the USSR, repeated prize-winner of the European championships and world V. N. Kopytov.

Welcoming young wrestlers, V.K.Tomayev emphasized that V. N. Poddubny who has given many years to combine of "Kmarud's" biography, testifies that in any business is possible and it is necessary to achieve success. S. N. Zhiryakova marked that such interaction of municipal authority with the enterprises promotes the active implementation of the program of a healthy lifestyle.

After a concert prepared by pupils of the Palace of children's creativity, on two carpets fights began. Making comments on them, the principal of the Belarusian command V. N. Kopytov paid attention that many wrestlers of low age participate in tournament. And among "kids" it is already possible to watch the serious competition.

Gubkinsky wrestlers pleased fans with a set of medals.  The first places in the weight categories took Egor Orlov, Ivan Roschupkin, Pavel Rybalko, Vitaly Fedotov, Ivan Remizov, the second prize-winners became Areg Agbalyan, Andrey Maskalyov, Vitaly Davydenko, Gleb Lapshin, the third – Egor Solodilov, Andrey Anikeev, Arthur Chubarov, Dmitry Bozhkov, Alexey Luzhkov.  The special diploma for the most beautiful victory awarded Gleb Lapshin.
