The children who are engaged in Greco-Roman wrestling, take part not only in regional competitions, but also in the tournaments which are carried out by other areas.

Pupils of DYuSSh No. 1 who are trained by Alexander Prodius, in May left to the city of Podolsk situated near Moscow where to measure swords profit forces the strongest wrestlers from Moscow, Lyubertsy, Tula, Vladimir, Saransk, the Eagle, Samara, Ioshkar Ola, Tambov and our city. And again our wrestlers appeared at height. In the smallest weight category (to 35 kg) Sergey Fyodorov won four victories and took the II place. Peter Ryzhkin and Egor Butskikh in the weight categories on the score wrote on three victories, they have bronze. Grigory Fyodorov who has won the rivals in weight category to 63 kg rose by the higher step of a pedestal.

   Several days later wrestlers of DYuSSh No. 1 continued to show the skill on open superiority of the city of Lipetsk where the strongest wrestlers from 10 cities of the Central Chernozem region gathered. The number of the arrived participants didn't allow to be laid down in scheduled two days of competitions therefore they competed in subgroups on the weight categories. Our Grigory Fyodorov surely won a gold medal. Its victory was supported by Kirill Selivanov who has also risen by the higher step of a pedestal. On the second places in the weight categories settled down Sergey Fyodorov, Denis Devyatov, Maxim Butskikh and Elyyun Guseynov. Six young athletes became the third prize-winners, this is Dmitry Selivanov, Peter Ryzhkin, Gelman Kalashan, Sevdin Usubyan, Anton Hodyakov and Karen Asoyan. The strained trainings as it is visible, aren't in vain, only at two competitions Kotovsk wrestlers took 16 prizes.

  The school administration, athletes and their parents thank the high trainer of area Alexander Bakhtanov, the commercial director of a mall "Northern", the deputy of the City Council Oleg Hodyakov for the charitable help in the organization of departures on competitions.
