Nikolay Martinesku (g. 24.02.1940, Vishana, Breil's district). Played for Dynamo sports club (Bucharest). The champion of OI 1972 in a light heavyweight (Greco-Roman wrestling). ChE 1966. Serebr. prize-winner of a WC 1963, 1971. Bronz. prize-winner of OI 1968 and WC 1966, 1967, 1970, 1974. Bronz. prize-winner of ChE 1972. Among the best athletes of the socialist countries in 1972 the rank "Zasl. master of sports of the USSR".
