Legendary wrestler Ivan Bogdan marked out Award NOK

At rewarding ceremony "Heroes of sports year" noted not only outstanding Olympians of last year, but also those who any more approves one decade the Olympic principles in Ukraine.


The Olympic champion of Rome-1960 in Greco-Roman wrestling Ivan Bogdan and attaches of NOK of Ukraine on Olympic Games in Atlanta-1996 and Solt-Leyk-City-2002 Larissa Barabash-Templ received from hands of the president of National Olympic committee of Sergey Bubki and the Minister of youth and the sports, the first vice-president of NOK Ravil Safiullin the highest award of domestic Olympic movement - Award NOK.


Ivan Bogdan is a legendary figure in the Ukrainian sports. He who has grown in the picturesque village, dreamed to continue business of the father - to be a farmer. However the destiny prepared for it absolutely other way - sports which it still continues to go. Now Ivan Gavrilovich actively imparts the wrestling experience with young athletes.
