For the seventh time of the Lead accepted open republican tournament on Greco-Roman wrestling on prizes of the Belarusian Dynamo member.

This time, to Grodnenshchina to argue for awards of the bronze prize-winner of Olympic Games in Atlanta Valeria Tsilentya, there arrived the maximum number of competitors, nearly 200 young fighters. The authority of this continuous start drew attention of trainers and athletes of seven foreign countries. To sport center carpets "Olympia" there were representatives of Azerbaijan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Ukraine and Sweden.

Local Dynamo members on native tournament didn't win special glory. Only the pupil of the deserved trainer of the country of Anatoly Kasavtsev - Yury Dostanko in the weight of 69 kg managed to take the fifth place. Other representatives of "white-blue" school were stopped far on approaches to pedestals. For them which have remained without recognition, words of the classic can be a consolation only:
