Early in the morning on February 23 Novosibirsk wrestlers Ivan Kuylakov and Roman Vlasov returned to our city. Our fellow countrymen, acting as a part of Russian national team, won gold medals of the World Cup on Greco-Roman wrestling which passed in the capital of Iran – Tehran.

Newly appeared owners of an honourable trophy met: the head coach of the combined Novosibirsk region Boris Medvedev, the director of Federation of wrestling of the Novosibirsk region Evgeny Yakhimovich, the assistant to the commander of general association on physical preparation Ivan Kuvyrzin, the deserved trainer of the USSR and Russia Victor Kuznetsov.

Our fellow countrymen made a powerful contribution to the general success of the national team – both residents of Novosibirsk fought steadily and reliably, and didn't lose any duel.

In Ivan Kuylakov's career (the weight category to 60 kilograms) is the second victory on the World Cup. Now it has good chances to present Russian national team in the European championship which will take place in the middle of March in Georgia.

And here for the winner of Olympic Games, the world champion and Europe Roman Vlasov (weight category to 74 kilograms) competitions in Iran were, in a certain sort, debut. To fight it went to Tehran in the rank of the captain of Russian national team …

- Really, on educational and training collecting in Adler I was appointed the captain of a national team, Roman Vlasov tells, is not only the respect and trust sign, but also big responsibility, emphasizes our fellow countryman.

The pupil of the deserved trainer of the USSR and Russia Victor Kuznetsov coped with responsibility freight, without looking at any difficulties.

- Tehran is at the height about 2000 meters above sea level – to fight in the conditions of middle mountains all not easy, usually, under loading breath gets off, but everything goes according to the plan, I, from tournament to tournament, gather a form. Poddubny's memorial, educational and training collecting played the positive role and in respect of psychological stability, and in respect of functional preparation, makes comments on the performance Roman Vlasov.

Interestingly, what exactly the captain of Russian national team Roman Vlasov "told" the decisive word in dispute for World Cup "gold". It brought a victorious fourth command point. For numerous Iranian fans it became a serious blow to the ego, and they didn't hesitate in indignation and chagrin manifestations. However, no splashes in feelings could affect the World Cup outcome any more – 2013, Russian national team, after a four-year break, won again the World Cup, and this success became an excellent gift to all fans of fight on the eve of Day of the defender of the Fatherland.
