For the sake of saving of the sport in the Olympic program representatives of wrestling prepare demonstration performances near historical monuments of Greece and are going to appeal to cultural traditions of the different countries.

In two months on the congress the IOC in Buenos Aires the final decision on saving or an exception of wrestling from the Olympic program will be made. The principal of the working group of the International federation of the integrated styles of wrestling (FILA) George Bryusov told "SE" about Borba-2020 committee strategy at a present stage, and also about the actions, which purpose - to secure with sympathies of those who in September should make the fatal decision.

Changes in rules of carrying out wrestlings became one of key points in campaign for rescue of the Olympic status of wrestling. The University games in Kazan where innovations as a whole received the positive estimates appeared the first serious international start for the new rules.

- Changes in rules were approved on the extraordinary congress of FILA in Moscow and caused a certain discussion, - Bryusov emphasized. - As a result they were accepted, and then provided in St. Petersburg to executive committee the IOC. For implementation of new rules the whole program is implemented, judges are trained, and among athletes passed trainings. The most high-class referees were invited to University games - in order that tournament refereeing by new rules took place at good level. Compositions of the participating national teams too were very serious so wrestling approached to competitions to all responsibility.

It is known that information on a possible exception of wrestling from the Olympic program, appeared at the beginning of this year, first caused rough and uncontrollable response in the wrestling world. In FILA there was a revolution as a result of which the former manual of federation was overthrown. Worldwide spontaneous actions swept - prize-winners of the Olympic Games held a meeting, gave angry interviews, even returned in the IOC the medals. But gradually new principals of federation managed to bridle some anger of wrestlers and to send it to the peace course. FILA heard the argumentation IOC and worked out new strategy of development of the sport. Also some being remembered actions brightest of which was the match between the national teams of the USA, Iran and Russia at the railway station of New York were held.

At present, according to Bryusov, beautiful PR actions shall give way to laborious operation.

- We are faced by the single task - to make so that delegates the IOC selected wrestling from three Olympic Games of sports offered in the program, - the principal of the Borba-2020 working group speaks. - Something special shouldn't be invented any more. It is necessary to realize only everything that we developed, presented and offered. The benefit for this purpose is all opportunities. After University games in Kazan laborious operation on presentation preparation at session the IOC, on direct operation with those who will make the decision is necessary, - meetings, the additional argumentation are necessary. It is necessary to show, how we will change that updated wrestling and why representatives the IOC shall vote for it represents.

However, representatives of FILA still prepare some surprises, but don't hurry to show a card yet.

- At the end of July we plan to hold small tournament in Greece - it will take place at the initiative of federation of wrestling of this country and its Olympic committee, - Bryusov told. - Probably, demonstration performances in the places which have been historically connected to the Olympic movement will be carried out. While I am not ready to open all cards, but, check, the president of FILA Nenad Lalovich specifically deals with these issues and intends to participate in opening of competitions personally. It will be, perhaps, the last action directed on promotion of our sport.

Thus I consider even as more important to show to the world community - and first of all to myself, - that we are ready to change that the format governed, offered by us, goes on favor to wrestling, its staginess, clearness and attractiveness for the audience, sponsors.

- We work in the hard contact with structures the IOC, - Bryusov emphasized. - Present intensity and level of these contacts can't even be compared to that was half a year ago. Within our presentation we will prepare very interesting sentences which are ready to implement not in 2020, and already from the 2016th. Innovations concern changes in rules, structure of competitions, their show on television. But now I have no right to open all secrets. All our contacts about the IOC are regulated by demands which are made to a sport which claims for hit in the program of Olympic Games.

Competitors of wrestling on hit in the Igr-2020 program there is a squash and baseball with softboly. And our rivals have a certain advantage, after all they carry operation on hit in the Olympic program already many years.

- The FILA working group analyzes the most different aspects including actions of our opponents, - Bryusov reported. - They carry out well planned campaigns with connection of serious resources. They already have a similar experience, and in this plan they there are in more preferable situation, than we. But, check, we don't despond. We do now that is necessary for success.

That the decision the IOC appeared the positive, representatives of FILA will lay on presentations for members the IOC an emphasis, on the one hand, on centuries-old traditions of wrestling, and against another - on changes which shall happen in this sport for increase of its accessibility, staginess and attractiveness for youth.

- Wrestling is a component of harmonic development of the personality. This traditional sport very densely is interwoven into culture of many countries, - Bryusov speaks. - The ultimate goal for FILA - to approach the Olympic wrestling to masses. To make it more available, national and spectacular. For this purpose, of course, it is necessary to work much. It is necessary that young people went to sections and clubs, had opportunity to be engaged in this simple, very harmonic and grateful sport. Without it we won't be able to withstand the competition for younger generation.
