The sporting world is concerned by the notorious recommendation of executive committee of the IOC to exclude wrestling from the program of Olympic Games.

The lawsuit between the International Olympic committee and the International federation of the integrated styles of wrestling threatens as warns one of the Russian sites, "the biggest mistake in the history of world sports".

— What can I tell about it? — Serik Sultangali answered. — Someone barks, and the caravan goes. It is impossible to exclude wrestling from the program of Olympic Games even theoretically. Yes, someone sounded such idea, and, alas, at all someone, and, unfortunately, officials of high level from the International Olympic committee. But wrestling — is one of the main and very spectacular sports. Let's hope that everything will rise on the places.

— And what do you think of what a number of outstanding athletes, in particular Russian, in protest at an exception of wrestling of the Olympic program the medals earlier won on Games are ready to return to the IOC?

— Indignation universal and everyone expresses it in own way. Sometimes emotions are splashed out through edges. I understand these people. But, probably, you shouldn't panic ahead of time because the worst scenario of development of a situation is simply impossible! ! ! It is sure that if this question will be finished to the point of absurdity, indignation will be any more only from athletes, but also the whole world will rear.

— The Kazakhstan federation of wrestling somehow made a protest to plans of some officials of the IOC?

— Yes, we expressed the unambiguous opinion about it, response, naturally, goes. And in case of situation aggravation, I think, stocks will be supported not only wrestlers, but also all sports public of the world.

— For me this "news" was big surprise — tells to Daulet Bolatovich. — Certainly, extreme in such situation to look for not too well, but it is necessary to recognize that in everything the former president of FILA Raphael Martinetti is guilty.

— And in what his fault?

— This is the head who solved many questions without coordination with members of FILA bureau. He assured that communications with IOC are carried out constantly, recommendations of the International Olympic committee are implemented. We weren't familiar with disturbing letters which the IOC sent to FILA.

— What further scenario of development of a difficult situation from the point of view of FILA?

— In May in Moscow the extraordinary congress of FILA will take place, the bureau of the international federation will sit. In the agenda the main thing there is a question of threat of an exception of wrestling from the program of the Olympic Games, and also changes of rules of carrying out competitions. There also we will undertake all measures for situation correction.

— How many the countries are included now into FILA?

—  202  .  And wrestling actively develops on all five continents.  In this question I am an optimist, is sure that the Olympic interests of wrestlers will be protected.  The Kazakhstan federation of the Greek-Roman, free-style and female wrestling is included into the list of the best national federations in the world, and our voice too has to be heard in the International Olympic committee.
