As it is known to all fans of sports, wrestling unexpectedly appeared under the threat of disappearance from the program of Olympic Games.

On February 12 the Executive committee of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recommended to exclude wrestling from the program of summer Olympic Games of 2020. Members of executive committee the IOC considered the official report which affected 39 aspects concerning all 26 disciplines which were present on last year's Games at London. Including television ratings, level of sale of tickets, a dope question, popularity of a sport in the world were estimated. As a result such sad verdict to the most popular Caucasian sports was rendered. - Wrestling will fill up the list of sports which can be recommended by executive committee for consideration at regular session as applicants for a place in the Igr-2020 program. Into this list already enter baseball, softball, karate, sports rock-climbing, squash, ushu a veykbording. In May, 2013 the executive committee will pass the decision after the international federations will present to presentation of the sports in St. Petersburg. The final decision according to the program of the Olympic Games will be made at the 125th session the IOC in Buenos Aires in September, then the capital Igr-2020 for which apply Madrid, Istanbul and Tokyo will be chosen. Naturally, a huge number of the countries stated the protest concerning this decision. Disagreement with policy the IOC was expressed by heads of the Olympic committees, federations and wrestlingers from the USA, to Russia, Germany, Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, Iran, to India, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, to Belarus and many others. The sharpest reaction to the decision the IOC arrived from the homeland of Games: according to Costas Tanosa, the chairman of the Greco union of wrestlers, "the IOC kills the Olympic spirit. If cancel wrestling, the IOC will have to rename games into "The Olympic business games". Some Olympic champions in wrestling started returning the IOC gold Olympic medals in protest at this decision, to declare hunger strikes. In this regard Buvaysar Saytiyev interestingly spoke. He declared that too is ready to give the IOC one of the Olympic medals but only in case they leave wrestling on the Olympic Games.  And so, them yet for what to award.

On February 28 the Queen of Belgium Paola visited the city of Eypen in East Belgium within the charitable programs. Its heat was met by inhabitants of the region. Having broken through to the Queen through crowd and security guards, Iza Gambulatov asked it to put the signature in support of wrestling on the Olympic Games. However, as it appeared the Queen didn't know German in which Gambulatov addressed to her. While Iza passed to French and I tried to explain in what business, the assistant to the Queen told that it doesn't give today autographs and took away the high-ranking person further on the planned route.

Let's not take offense at the Queen of Belgium, most likely the elderly woman isn't the fan of wrestling and, probably, at all in a course of this scandal. Let's hope that wrestling remains in the program of the Olympic Games even unsigned Queens of Belgium.
